Segunda division (Week 37) : Girona defeats Huesca 3-1
SPAIN, May. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 1-2 win against Lugo on April 30, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-1 victory over Huesca this Saturday.
Sandaza Fran scored dual goals
Girona dominated the first half thanks to goals from Portu Cristian ('39) and Sandaza Fran ('41 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Sandaza Fran in stoppage time.
Girona FC remains in second place with 54 points from 29 games, 10 points behind Levante UD.
