Segunda division (Week 37) : Getafe beats Cordoba 2-0
SPAIN, May. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 37: Two wins in a row for Getafe. After their 1-2 win against Zaragoza on April 29, Los Azulones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Cordoba this Sunday.
Getafe dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Faurlin Alejandro in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Azulones further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Chuli in the 71st minute.
Getafe CF remains in third place with 50 points from 30 games, 4 points behind Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
