Segunda division (Week 37) : Tenerife defeats Lugo 2-1
SPAIN, May. 7, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 37: After three straigth draws, Los Chicharreros bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Lugo this Sunday.
Tenerife dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Sanz Aitor in the 33rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Chicharreros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lozano Anthony with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Tenerife climbed to third place with 48 points from 29 games, 6 points behind Girona FC.
