Segunda division (Week 38) : Levante beats Girona 2-1
SPAIN, May. 13, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 38: After losing 2-1 to Rayo Vallecano on May 6, Les Granotes returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Girona this Saturday.
Levante dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Morales Jose in the 8th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Les Granotes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Suarez Rober in the 64th minute.
Levante UD remains in first place with 67 points from 31 games, a 13-point lead over runner-up Girona FC, which has a game in hand.
