Segunda division (Week 34) : Tenerife and Girona play out 3-3 draw
SPAIN, Apr. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: The match between Girona and Tenerife ended in a frustrating 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Girona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Ruiz Carlos ('37 own) and Alcala Pedro ('45) while Tenerife only scored once Suso Santana ('45 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, and despite Alcaraz Ruben goal ('80) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Tenerife with goals by Jimenez Alberto ('60) and Ndiaye Amath ('76).
Girona FC remains in second place with 48 points from 27 games, 13 points behind Levante UD.
