Segunda division (Week 4) : Gijon hold Oviedo to 1-1
SPAIN, Sep. 9, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 4: Sporting Gijon was held to a 1-1 draw by Real Oviedo on Saturday.
Sporting Gijon players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Carmona Carlos in the 12th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Real Oviedo with a saving goal from Toche Jose in the 85th minute.
Real Sporting de Gijon are down in second place with 8 points from 4 games, 2 points behind Cadiz FC.
