ITALY, Sep. 15, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 2: After their 0-0 draw against Atalanta on August 31, the Gialloblu bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Palermo this Monday.
Palermo midfielder Franco Vázquez opened the score in the 18th minute, before seeing Hellas Verona catch up in the 41st minute thanks to Luca Toni penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. The Gialloblu eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Pisano into his own net in the 77th minute.
Hellas Verona climbed to 6th place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with UC Sampdoria.
