ITALY, Sep. 28, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 2-1 win against Chievo on September 24, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Genoa this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Sampdoria nor Genoa have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Sampdoria forward Manolo Gabbiadini in the 75th minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to third place with 11 points from 5 games, 4 points behind AS Roma.
