Serie A (Week 4) : Verona and Genoa play out 2-2 draw
ITALY, Sep. 24, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 4: Hellas Verona was held to a 2-2 draw by Genoa on Wednesday.
Genoa players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Genoa forward Alessandro Matri in the 34th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Matri goal ('48) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Hellas Verona with goals by Panagiotis Tachtsidis ('52) and Artur Ioniţă ('65).
Hellas Verona are down in fifth place with 8 points from 4 games, tie on points with UC Sampdoria.
