Serie A (Week 4) : Empoli and Milan play out 2-2 draw

ITALY, Sep. 23, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 4: AC Milan was held to a 2-2 draw by Empoli on Tuesday.

Empoli players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Tonelli ('13) and Pucciarelli ('22) while AC Milan only scored once Torres ('43). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by AC Milan with a saving goal from Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda in the 58th minute.

AC Milan climbed to third place with 7 points from 4 games, 2 points behind Juventus, which has a game in hand.
