Serie A (Week 18) : Verona beats Parma 3-1
ITALY, Jan. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: After their 0-0 draw against Empoli on January 6, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Parma this Sunday.
Hellas Verona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Jacopo Sala in the 39th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Toni '72 and Valoti '90).
Hellas Verona climbed to 13rd place with 21 points from 18 games, 2 points behind Udinese.
