Serie A (Week 29) : Verona hold Cesena to 3-3
ITALY, Apr. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 29: The match between Hellas Verona and Cesena ended in a 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Hellas Verona players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Toni ('3) and Gomez ('30). However, even though they were leading 2-0 at half time, and despite Toni goal ('62) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Cesena with goals by Carlos Carbonero ('70), Franco Brienza ('77) and Davide Succi ('81).
Hellas Verona climbed to 15th place with 33 points from 29 games, tie on points with Empoli FC, which has a game in hand.
