Serie A (Week 29) : Juve beats Empoli 2-0
ITALY, Apr. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 29: Four wins in a row for Juventus. After their success against Sassuolo, Palermo and Genoa, La Vecchia Signora continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-0 victory over Empoli this Saturday.
Juventus dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine forward Carlos Tévez in the 43rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pereyra in stoppage time.
Juventus remains in first place with 70 points from 29 games, a 14-point lead over runner-up AS Roma.
