ITALY, Apr. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 30: After a 2-0 victory over Sampdoria on April 4, the Viola lost 3-0 against Napoli.
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Belgian forward Dries Mertens in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Hamsik '71 and Callejon '89).
Napoli climbed to fourth place with 50 points from 30 games, 7 points behind AS Roma.
