Serie A (Week 8) : Napoli beats Verona 6-2
ITALY, Oct. 26, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: After their 2-2 draw against Inter Milan on October 19, the Partenopei returned to winning ways with a 6-2 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Gonzalo Higuaín scored tripple goals
Hellas Verona midfielder Emil Hallfreðsson opened the score in the 1st minute, before seeing Napoli catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Marek Hamsik. 1-1 at half time. The Partenopei eventually won the game in the second period with five more goals by Hamsik ('58), Higuaín ('68, '84, '90 on penalty) and Callejon ('76).
Napoli remains in 7th place with 14 points from 8 games, tie on points with AC Milan, which has a game in hand.
