Serie A (Week 9) : Verona hold Lazio to 1-1
ITALY, Oct. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: Lazio was held to a 1-1 draw by Hellas Verona on Thursday.
Lazio players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Lulic in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Hellas Verona with a saving goal from Hellas Verona forward Luca Toni on penalty in the 69th minute.
Lazio climbed to third place with 16 points from 9 games, 6 points behind Juventus and AS Roma.
