Serie A (Week 36) : Juve beats Inter 2-1
ITALY, May. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 36: After their 1-1 draw against Cagliari on May 9, La Vecchia Signora returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Inter Milan this Saturday.
Inter Milan forward Mauro Icardi opened the score in the 9th minute, before seeing Juventus catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Claudio Marchisio penalty kick. 1-1 at half time. La Vecchia Signora eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Morata with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Juventus remains in first place with 83 points from 36 games, a 19-point lead over runner-up AS Roma, which has a game in hand.
