Serie A (Week 36) : Genoa beats Atalanta 4-1
ITALY, May. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Genoa. After their 5-1 win against Torino on May 11, Grifone continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-1 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Iago Falqué scored dual goals
Atalanta forward Pinilla opened the score in the 18th minute on penalty, before seeing Genoa catch up in the 30th minute thanks to Leonardo Pavoletti. 1-1 at half time. Grifone eventually won the game in the second period with three more goals by Bertolacci ('57) and Falqué ('61, '73).
Genoa CFC climbed to fifth place with 56 points from 36 games, 4 points behind Napoli, which has a game in hand.
