ITALY, Dec. 6, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 15: Two wins in a row for Empoli. After their 1-0 win against Lazio on November 29, the Azzurri continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Empoli nor Hellas Verona have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Empoli defender Andrea Costa in the 62nd minute.
Empoli FC climbed to 10th place with 21 points from 15 games, only one point behind Torino FC.
