ITALY, Jan. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Fiorentina. After their 2-0 win against Chievo on December 20, the Viola continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Palermo this Wednesday.
Josip Iličić scored dual goals
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to goals from Iličić ('13, '42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Błaszczykowski in stoppage time.
ACF Fiorentina climbed to first place with 38 points from 18 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Juventus.
