Serie A (Week 18) : Juve defeats Verona 3-0
ITALY, Jan. 6, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: 8 wins in a row for Juventus. After their success against Torino, Empoli, AC Milan, Palermo, Lazio, Fiorentina and Carpi, La Vecchia Signora continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-0 victory over Hellas Verona this Wednesday.
Juventus dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dybala ('8) and Bonucci ('45). Leading 2-0 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zaza with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Juventus climbed to second place with 36 points from 18 games, 2 points behind ACF Fiorentina.
