Serie A (Week 17) : Juve defeats Carpi 3-2

ITALY, Dec. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: 7 wins in a row for Juventus. After their success against Torino, Empoli, AC Milan, Palermo, Lazio and Fiorentina, La Vecchia Signora continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-2 victory over Carpi this Sunday.

Mario Mandžukić scored dual goals

Carpi opened the score in the score in the 15th minute thanks to Marco Borriello, before Juventus regained the advantage with Mandžukić ('18, '41). Leading 2-1 at the break, La Vecchia Signora further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pogba in the 50th minute.

Juventus climbed to second place with 33 points from 17 games, 3 points behind Inter Milan, which has a game in hand.
