Serie A (Week 17) : Roma beats Genoa 2-0
ITALY, Dec. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 17: After their 1-1 draw against Torino on December 13 and 0-0 draw against Napoli on December 13, the Giallorossi returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Genoa this Sunday.
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Alessandro Florenzi in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Sadiq Umar with one minute left in regular time.
AS Roma remains in fifth place with 32 points from 17 games, one point behind Juventus.
