Serie A (Week 18) : Samp beats Genoa 3-2
ITALY, Jan. 5, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 2-0 win against Palermo on December 20, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-2 victory over Genoa this Tuesday.
Roberto Soriano scored dual goals
Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Soriano ('18) and Eder Martins ('39). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Soriano in the 49th minute.
UC Sampdoria climbed to 10th place with 23 points from 18 games, only one point behind Atalanta BC, which has a game in hand.
