Serie A (Week 20) : Carpi beats Samp 2-1
ITALY, Jan. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Carpi. After their 2-1 win against Udinese on January 9, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Sampdoria this Sunday.
Lollo Lorenzo opened the score in the 27th minute, before seeing Sampdoria catch up in the 33rd minute thanks to Joaquín Correa. 1-1 at half time. The Biancorossi eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Mbakogu Jerry on penalty in the 55th minute.
UC Sampdoria are down in 14th place with 23 points from 20 games, one point behind Udinese.
