Serie A (Week 20) : Genoa beats Palermo 4-0
ITALY, Jan. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Genoa. After their 0-2 win against Atalanta on January 10, Grifone continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-0 victory over Palermo this Sunday.
Leonardo Pavoletti scored dual goals
Genoa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Spanish midfielder Suso in the 4th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Grifone further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Pavoletti '71, '88 and Rincón '75).
Genoa CFC climbed to 15th place with 22 points from 20 games, only one point behind UC Sampdoria, which has a game in hand.
