Serie A (Week 35) : Verona defeats Milan 2-1
ITALY, Apr. 25, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 35: After three straigth defeats, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over AC Milan this Monday.
AC Milan had started off well by taking the lead in the 21st minute with a goal by French midfielder Jérémy Ménez. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Gialloblu nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Pazzini '72 on penalty and Siligardi '90).
AC Milan remains in 6th place with 53 points from 35 games, 6 points behind ACF Fiorentina.
