ITALY, Aug. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 2: AS Roma was held to a 2-2 draw by Cagliari on Sunday.
AS Roma players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Argentine midfielder Diego Perotti on penalty in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Strootman goal ('46) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Cagliari with goals by Marco Borriello ('56) and Sau Marco ('87).
AS Roma are down in fourth place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Juventus and UC Sampdoria.
