Serie A (Week 2) : Genoa beats Crotone 3-1
ITALY, Aug. 28, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Genoa. After their 3-1 win against Cagliari on August 21, Grifone continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Crotone this Sunday.
Leonardo Pavoletti scored dual goals
Crotone had started off well by taking the lead in the 34th minute with a goal by forward Raffaele Palladino. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Grifone nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Gakpé '51 and Pavoletti '55, '63).
Genoa CFC climbed to first place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up Juventus and UC Sampdoria.
