ITALY, Sep. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 3: After two straigth victories against Empoli and Atalanta, the Blucerchiati lost 3-2 against AS Roma.

Sampdoria had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Muriel Luis ('18) and Quagliarella ('41), while Roma only scored once Salah ('8). Trailing 2-1 at half time, the Giallorossi nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Džeko '61 and Totti '90 on penalty).

AS Roma climbed to second place with 7 points from 3 games, 2 points behind Juventus.
