Serie A (Week 15) : Sassuolo beats Empoli 3-0
ITALY, Dec. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 15: After their 1-1 draw against Napoli on November 28, the Neroverdi bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Empoli this Sunday.
Sassuolo dominated the first half thanks to goals from Pellegrini ('22 on penalty) and Ricci ('36 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Neroverdi further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ragusa in the 53rd minute.
US Sassuolo Calcio climbed to 14th place with 17 points from 15 games, only one point behind AC Chievo Verona, which has a game in hand.
