ITALY, May. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 37: After losing 1-0 to Palermo on May 14, Grifone bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Torino this Sunday.
Genoa dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Luca Rigoni in the 32nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Grifone further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Simeone Giovanni in the 54th minute.
Torino FC remains in 9th place with 50 points from 37 games, 6 points behind Inter Milan, which has a game in hand.
