Serie A (Week 2) : Inter defeats Roma 3-1
ITALY, Aug. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Inter Milan. After their 3-0 win against Fiorentina on August 20, the Beneamata continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over AS Roma this Saturday.
Mauro Icardi scored dual goals
AS Roma had started off well by taking the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by Bosnian forward Edin Džeko. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Beneamata nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Icardi '67, '77 and Vecino '87).
Inter Milan are down in second place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with Juventus.
