Serie A (Week 2) : Napoli defeats Atalanta 3-1
ITALY, Aug. 27, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Napoli. After their 1-3 win against Hellas Verona on August 19, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-1 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Atalanta had started off well by taking the lead in the 15th minute with a goal by midfielder Bryan Cristante. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Partenopei nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Zieliński '56, Mertens '61 and Rog Marko '87).
Napoli climbed to third place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with Inter Milan.
