Serie A (Week 4) : Napoli beats Benevento 6-0
ITALY, Sep. 17, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 4: Four wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Hellas Verona, Atalanta and Bologna, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 6-0 victory over Benevento this Sunday.
Dries Mertens scored dual goals
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Allan Marques ('3), Insigne ('15), Mertens ('27) and Callejon Jose ('32). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mertens '65/penalty and Maggio '90/penalty).
Napoli climbed to first place with 12 points from 4 games, tie on points with runner-up Juventus.
