Serie A (Week 5) : Napoli defeats Lazio 4-1
ITALY, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 5: Five wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Hellas Verona, Atalanta, Bologna and Benevento, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-1 victory over Lazio this Wednesday.
Lazio had started off well by taking the lead in the 29th minute with a goal by Dutch defender Stefan de Vrij. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Partenopei nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring four times in the second period (Koulibaly '54, Callejon Jose '56, Mertens '59 and Jorginho Luiz Frello '90 on penalty).
Napoli remains in first place with 15 points from 5 games, tie on points with runner-up Juventus.
