ITALY, Sep. 20, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 5: Two wins in a row for AS Roma. After their 3-0 win against Hellas Verona on September 16, the Giallorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 4-0 victory over Benevento this Wednesday.
Edin Džeko scored dual goals
AS Roma dominated the first half thanks to goals from Džeko ('22) and Lucioni Fabio ('35 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Giallorossi further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Džeko '52 and Venuti '74/own).
AS Roma climbed to fifth place with 9 points from 4 games, only one point behind Lazio.
