Serie A (Week 7) : Lazio defeats Sassuolo 6-1
ITALY, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Lazio. After their 0-3 win against Hellas Verona on September 24, the Biancocelesti continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 6-1 victory over Sassuolo this Sunday.
Luis Alberto and Marco Parolo scored dual goals
Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi opened the score in the 27th minute on penalty, before seeing Lazio catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Luis Alberto. 1-1 at half time. The Biancocelesti eventually won the game in the second period with five more goals by De Vrij Stefan ('56), Alberto ('58), Parolo ('64, '70) and Immobile ('81 on penalty).
Lazio remains in fourth place with 16 points from 7 games, 2 points behind Juventus, which has a game in hand.
