Serie A (Week 7) : Napoli beats Cagliari 3-0
ITALY, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: 7 wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Hellas Verona, Atalanta, Bologna, Benevento, Lazio and SPAL, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-0 victory over Cagliari this Sunday.
Napoli dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hamsik ('4) and Mertens ('40 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Partenopei further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Koulibaly in the 47th minute.
Napoli remains in first place with 21 points from 7 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Juventus, which has a game in hand.
