Serie A (Week 7) : Chievo beats Fiorentina 2-1
ITALY, Oct. 1, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Chievo. After their 0-2 win against Cagliari on September 24, the Gialloblu continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 2-1 victory over Fiorentina this Sunday.
Lucas Castro scored dual goals
Simeone Giovanni opened the score in the 6th minute, before seeing Chievo catch up in the 25th minute thanks to Lucas Castro. 1-1 at half time. The Gialloblu eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Castro in the 46th minute.
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 8th place with 11 points from 7 games, only one point behind Torino FC.
