ITALY, Oct. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Chievo on October 1, the Viola bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Udinese this Sunday.
Cyril Théreau scored dual goals
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by French forward Cyril Théreau in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Théreau in the 57th minute.
ACF Fiorentina climbed to 11st place with 10 points from 8 games, only one point behind Bologna FC 1909, which has a game in hand.
