Serie A (Week 8) : Samp beats Atalanta 3-1
ITALY, Oct. 15, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 8: After losing 4-0 to Udinese on September 30, the Blucerchiati bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Atalanta had started off well by taking the lead in the 21st minute with a goal by midfielder Bryan Cristante. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Blucerchiati nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Zapata Duvan '56, Caprari '59 and Linetty Karol '68).
UC Sampdoria climbed to 6th place with 14 points from 7 games, only one point behind AS Roma.
