Serie A (Week 9) : Samp beats Crotone 5-0
ITALY, Oct. 21, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Sampdoria. After their 3-1 win against Atalanta on October 15, the Blucerchiati continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 5-0 victory over Crotone this Saturday.
Sampdoria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Ferrari Gianmarco ('3), Quagliarella ('12 on penalty) and Caprari ('39). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Blucerchiati further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Linetty Karol '71 and Kownacki Dawid '76).
UC Sampdoria climbed to fifth place with 17 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Lazio.
