ITALY, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: After their 0-0 draw against Sassuolo on October 15, the Gialloblu returned to winning ways with a 3-2 victory over Hellas Verona this Sunday.
Inglese Roberto scored dual goals
Hellas Verona opened the score in the score in the 6th minute thanks to Daniele Verde, before Chievo regained the advantage with Inglese Roberto ('23, '30 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Gialloblu further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Pellissier in the 73rd minute.
AC Chievo Verona climbed to 7th place with 15 points from 9 games, tie on points with AS Roma, which has two games in hand.
