ITALY, Oct. 22, 2017 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Fiorentina. After their 2-1 win against Udinese on October 15, the Viola continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 3-0 victory over Benevento this Sunday.
Fiorentina dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Marco Benassi in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Viola further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Babacar '47 and Théreau '66/penalty).
ACF Fiorentina climbed to 9th place with 13 points from 9 games, only one point behind Bologna FC 1909.
