ITALY, Jan. 21, 2018 (AMP) — Serie A / Match day 21: Five wins in a row for Napoli. After their success against Torino, Sampdoria, Crotone and Hellas Verona, the Partenopei continued their sensational form in the Serie A with a 1-0 victory over Atalanta this Sunday.
Atalanta made Napoli doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Belgian forward Dries Mertens in the 65th minute.
Napoli remains in first place with 54 points from 21 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Juventus, which has a game in hand.
