Serie B (Week 1) : Catania draw 3-3 with Lanciano
ITALY, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Serie B: Catania and Virtus Lanciano opened the 2014-2015 season with an entertaining 3-3 draw on Saturday.
Catania players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Calaio in the 23rd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite goals by Martinho ('74) and Rosina ('87 on penalty) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Virtus Lanciano with goals by Pinato ('51 on penalty), Gatto ('63 on penalty) and Cerri ('90).
