Serie B (Week 28) : Frosinone beats Catania 2-1
ITALY, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 28: Two wins in a row for Frosinone. After their 3-2 win against Pro Vercelli on February 21, the Canarini continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 2-1 victory over Catania this Saturday.
Catania had started off well by taking the lead in the 45th minute with a goal by Castro. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Canarini nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Dionisi '57 and Ciofani '66).
Frosinone Calcio climbed to fifth place with 44 points from 28 games, 2 points behind AS Avellino 1912.
