ITALY, Apr. 17, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: Two wins in a row for Vicenza. After their 1-0 win against Avellino on April 10, the Biancorossi continued their sensational form in the Serie B with a 1-0 victory over Cittadella this Friday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Di Gennaro on penalty in stoppage time.
Vicenza Calcio climbed to second place with 59 points from 36 games, 12 points behind Carpi FC 1909, which has a game in hand.
