ITALY, Apr. 19, 2015 (AMP) — Serie B / Match day 36: The match between Varese and Avellino ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.
Avellino players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Trotta in the 32nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Varese with a saving goal from Falcone in the 65th minute.
AS Avellino 1912 remains in 6th place with 53 points from 36 games, one point behind AC Perugia.
